Au Revoir, Paris!

We leave for Vienna tomorrow morning.  Below are a few of our favorite sights from the last few days.  Paris is truly a beautiful city, steeped in so much significant history and beautiful sights.  Its people have been very kind, patient with our language issues, and always helpful.

Au revoir to our studio apartment -- we will miss the studio apartment, the tiny elevator, and the narrow walkup staircase with the well-worn wood steps.

Au revoir to our favorite Rue Cler café/restaurant, Café Central --

Au revoir to colorful and beautiful tree-lined streets packed with cars that are driven without any issues of personal space!

Au revoir to the many many cafes lining the downtown and neighborhood streets!

Au revoir to many statutes and sculptures all around Paris -- including this one of Thomas Jefferson!

Au revoir to all of that history, art, culture, and philosophy . . .

We look forward to returning and visiting the French wine country! I may not be blogging for a few days until after we settle down in Brno, Czech Republic on Sunday with the students at Mendel University.
