Europe Bound

Ita is packed and ready to travel!

Bon jour!  We head to Paris on August 2nd - this will be our vacation before Mark begins teaching his UCD study abroad class from August 10th through September 8th.  His program is called "Genetics:  From Mendel to Genomes" and he will be leading the class (with Maggie our on-site coordinator and me) through Brno, Czech Republic to study genetics at the Mendel Museum, the site of Mendel's historic work, while staying at Mendel University and then through the University of Cambridge, England to live and stay at Clare College.  We will have a brief stop in Vienna before heading to Brno with the students.

This is our second trip to Europe and, unlike last year, I look forward to actually finishing this trip as we planned.  During our stay in England, we will be flyfishing in Derbyshire for one weekend and visiting the British Museum for the other weekend.
